3 บริษัทกลุ่มเอสเอสไอคว้ารางวัลดีเด่นด้านความปลอดภัยอาชีวอนามัยฯ
พลเอก สุรศักดิ์ กาญจนรัตน์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบรางวัลสถานประกอบกิจการดีเด่น ด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานระดับประเทศ ประจําปี 2558 (รางวัลต่อเนื่อง 5 ปี) จัดโดยกระทรวงแรงงาน แก่นายถาวร คณานับ กรรมการผู้จัดการบริษัท ท่าเรือประจวบ จำกัด (PPC) บริษัทในกลุ่มเอสเอสไอ ณ ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค บางนา เมื่อวันที่ 2 กรกฏาคม 2558
ทั้งนี้ บริษัทในกลุ่มเอสเอสไออีก 2 บริษัท ได้รับรางวัลดังกล่าว ได้แก่ บริษัท เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) (TCRSS) (รางวัลต่อเนื่อง 9 ปี) และบริษัท สหวิริยาสตีลอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ เอสเอสไอ (รางวัลต่อเนื่อง 4 ปี) โดยรางวัลนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อยกย่องสถานประกอบการที่มุ่งมั่นดำเนินงาน ด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานของพนักงาน ให้เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแก่ผู้ประกอบการ
3 affiliates of SSI Group receive Thailand Outstanding Company Award for Safety, Occupational Health
Labour Minister General Surasak Karnjanarat hands over Thailand Outstanding Company Award for Safety, Occupational Health and Working Environment 2015 (5th consecutive year) to Mr. Thavorn Cananub, Managing Director of Prachuap Port Co. Ltd. (PPC), an affiliate of SSI Group of companies, at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, on 2nd July 2015.
In addition, 2 affiliates of SSI Group of companies - Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Company Limited. (TCRSS) and Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI) - also receive the award for 9 and 4 consecutive years, respectively. This award was set up to honor organizations that have operated their business, emphasizing good safety, occupational health and working environment management for staff and to be a role model for others.
