แอลทีซี บริษัทในเครือไทยคม รับเหรียญเชิดชูเกียรติจากรัฐบาล สปป.ลาว
บริษัท ลาว เทเลคอมมิวนิเคชั่นส์ จำกัด (แอลทีซี) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทในเครือของ บมจ.ไทยคม ผู้ให้บริการโทรศัพท์มือถือและโทรคมนาคม ซึ่งครองส่วนแบ่งการตลาดเป็นอันดับหนึ่งในสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว (สปป.ลาว) ได้รับเหรียญชัยแรงงานชั้นที่ 1 จากรัฐบาล สปป.ลาว ในฐานะบริษัทที่มีผลการดำเนินธุรกิจที่ดีเยี่ยม และสร้างคุณประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาและขยายเครือข่ายด้านโทรคมนาคมทุกด้านให้แก่ สปป.ลาว ประกอบกับเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการการเฉลิมฉลองการดำเนินธุรกิจครบรอบ 20 ปีของแอลทีซีอีกด้วย
ทั้งนี้ กระทรวงไปรษณีย์ โทรคมนาคม และการสื่อสาร ได้เสนอต่อรัฐบาลให้มีการมอบเหรียญเชิดชูเกียรติแก่แอลทีซี เนื่องจากแอลทีซีได้ทำคุณประโยชน์ให้แก่ สปป.ลาว โดยนายกรัฐมนตรี สปป.ลาว ได้มอบหมายให้ ฯพณฯ ท่าน ดร.ทันสะไหม กมมะสิด รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงไปรษณีย์ โทรคมนาคม และการสื่อสาร เป็นผู้ประดับเหรียญ โดยงานดังกล่าวจัดขึ้น ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ แอลทีซี นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ สปป.ลาว
นอกจากนี้ รัฐบาล สปป.ลาว ยังได้มอบเหรียญตราแรงงาน (CROSS OF LABOUR) ให้แก่ นายปิยะวัฒน์ จริยเศรษฐพงศ์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไปอาวุโส และนายปวริศร์ เอี่ยมอ่ำ ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบัญชีและการเงิน ในฐานะที่เป็นบุคคลที่มีผลงาน คุณความดี รวมถึงการอุทิศตนในการดำเนินงาน เพื่อทำให้บริษัทเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนา สปป.ลาว ซึ่งนับเป็นพนักงาน 2 คนแรกของบริษัทที่ได้รับเหรียญ และถือเป็นขั้นสูงสุดที่มอบโดยรัฐบาลและได้รับการอนุมัติจากนายกรัฐมนตรี อันเป็นการแสดงถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นในความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน เพื่อพัฒนาแอลทีซี และ สปป.ลาว ต่อไป
การได้รับเหรียญเชิดชูเกียรติดังกล่าว ถือเป็นสิ่งแสดงความสำเร็จจากความตั้งใจของไทยคมที่จะดำเนินธุรกิจเพื่อสร้างประโยชน์ให้แก่ทุกภาคส่วนในทุกประเทศที่ไทยคมดำเนินธุรกิจอยู่
Thaicom subsidiary LTC honored with medal from Lao government
Nonthaburi, Thailand, 8 December 2016 – Lao Telecommunications Company Limited (LTC), a subsidiary of Thaicom PLC and the leading mobile network operator in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), received the Medal of Labour, First Class from the government of Lao PDR. The company was honored for its outstanding business performance and the value it has created through the development and expansion of telecommunications networks throughout Lao PDR. The honor comes just as LTC is celebrating its 20th year in operation.
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications submitted a proposal for the Lao government to honor LTC with a medal in recognition of LTC’s contributions to the country. The Prime Minister approved the nomination and appointed His Excellency Dr. Thansamay Kommasith, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, to present the medal to LTC in a ceremony held at LTC headquarters in Lao PDR’s capital city of Vientiane.
The Lao government also presented the Cross of Labour to Mr. Piyawat Jriyasetapong, LTC’s Senior General Manager, and Mr. Pawaris Iam-am, manager of finance and accounting, for their achievements and dedication in working to consistently grow the company as well as for their contributions to the country’s development. Mr. Piyawat and Mr. Pawaris are the first LTC employees to receive the Cross of Labour, which is approved directly by the Prime Minister and considered one of the highest honors granted by the Lao government. Such recognition demonstrates the close relationship of cooperation between LTC and Lao government as they continue to work towards further development together.
These honors are an affirmation of Thaicom’s efforts to create shared value for all stakeholders in every country in which Thaicom carries out business.
