กสิกรไทยเปิดสำนักผู้แทน 2 แห่งในเวียดนาม รองรับธุรกิจข้ามประเทศ
ธนาคารกสิกรไทยเปิดสำนักผู้แทน 2 แห่งในเวียดนาม ที่ฮานอย และ โฮจิมินห์ รองรับการค้าและการลงทุนของบริษัทไทยที่จะขยายธุรกิจในเวียดนาม ด้วยการสนับสนุนข้อมูลวิจัยตลาด และเชื่อมต่อธุรกิจไทย เวียดนาม และทั่วทั้งภูมิภาคอาเซียนผ่านความร่วมมือกับธนาคารพันธมิตรชั้นนำ
นายปรีดี ดาวฉาย กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า เวียดนามเป็นหนึ่งในที่หมายสำคัญที่นักธุรกิจทั้งไทยและต่างประเทศต้องการเข้าไปลงทุน เนื่องจากมีความพร้อมด้านแรงงาน มีทัศนคติที่ดีในการพัฒนาตัวเอง ขยัน อดทน และเป็นแหล่งวัตถุดิบที่มีศักยภาพ ขณะเดียวกันเวียดนามยังเป็นตลาดรองรับสินค้าที่น่าสนใจ ด้วยประชากรมากกว่า 90 ล้านคน ที่ผ่านมาธนาคารกสิกรไทย ได้สร้างเครือข่ายบริการในเวียดนาม โดยการจับมือเป็นพันธมิตรกับธนาคารพาณิชย์ชั้นนำสองแห่งของเวียดนาม ได้แก่ เวียตตินแบงก์ (VietinBank) และอกริแบงก์ (AGRIBANK) ตั้งแต่ปี 2554 เป็นต้นมา
ล่าสุด ธนาคารกสิกรไทย ได้เปิดสำนักงานผู้แทน ธนาคารกสิกรไทย ในเวียดนามสองแห่ง คือ กรุงฮานอยและนครโฮจิมินห์ เพื่อเพิ่มความคล่องตัวในการดูแลธุรกิจของลูกค้าที่ต้องการขยายตลาดไปยังเวียดนาม โดยลูกค้าเป้าหมายหลักที่มุ่งเน้นให้บริการ คือ บริษัทไทยที่ต้องการขยายธุรกิจในเวียดนามทั้งเพื่อการค้าระหว่างประเทศและเพื่อการลงทุนในเวียดนาม รองลงมาคือลูกค้าบริษัทจีน ญี่ปุ่น และเกาหลีใต้ที่ต้องการขยายธุรกิจในเวียดนาม โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งด้านการค้าระหว่างประเทศ
สำนักงานผู้แทน ธนาคารกสิกรไทย ในเวียดนาม จะทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้ประสานงานระหว่างธนาคารกสิกรไทย สำนักงานใหญ่ กับลูกค้าซึ่งเป็นบริษัทไทยที่ขยายธุรกิจเข้าไปในเวียดนาม ดูแลโครงการลงทุนที่ได้รับสินเชื่อจากธนาคารกสิกรไทย เตรียมงานวิจัยข้อมูลตลาดเวียดนามเพื่อสนับสนุนการวางแผนธุรกิจให้แก่ลูกค้า สนับสนุนกิจกรรมการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างประเทศไทยกับเวียดนาม รวมทั้งการดูแลลูกค้ากลุ่มผู้ส่งออกเวียดนามในการเข้าถึงตลาดอาเซียนผ่านเครือข่ายระหว่างประเทศ พร้อมสนับสนุนการให้บริการด้านธุรกรรมแก่ลูกค้าผู้ประกอบธุรกิจในเวียดนามผ่านเครือข่ายบริการของเวียตตินแบงก์ (VietinBank) ธนาคารชั้นนำของเวียดนาม ซึ่งเป็นพันธมิตรที่แข็งแกร่งของธนาคารและมีเครือข่ายสาขาในเวียดนาม 147 แห่งทั่วประเทศ
นายปรีดี กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า จุดเด่นของธนาคารกสิกรไทยที่แตกต่างจากธนาคารพาณิชย์อื่นในเวียดนาม คือ การเป็นผู้นำด้านการให้บริการผู้ประกอบการขนาดกลางและขนาดเล็กในประเทศไทย ดังนั้นธนาคารฯ จึงมีความเข้าใจในธุรกิจไทย และพร้อมจะสนับสนุนทางการเงินและคำปรึกษาให้แก่ลูกค้าผู้ประกอบการของไทยที่ต้องการขยายธุรกิจในเวียดนาม รวมทั้งมีความพร้อมที่จะให้คำปรึกษาแก่ธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดเล็กของเวียดนามที่เป็นหนึ่งในซัพพลายเชนของลูกค้าธนาคารกสิกรไทย ทั้งธุรกิจไทย จีน ญี่ปุ่น และเกาหลีใต้
ภายใต้ยุทธศาสตร์การเป็นธนาคารแห่งเออีซีบวกสาม ธนาคารกสิกรไทยได้เชื่อมต่อธุรกิจทั่วอาเซียนผ่านการจัดตั้งธนาคารท้องถิ่น สาขาและสำนักงานผู้แทน รวมถึงการเป็นพันธมิตรกับธนาคารชั้นนำ 66 แห่ง ในจีน ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ และในภูมิภาคอาเซียน ซึ่งเป็นผลสืบเนื่องมากจากการลงนามความร่วมมือ Bangkok Declaration เมื่อเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2557 ที่ผ่านมา ทำให้เกิดความร่วมมือด้านธุรกิจระหว่างธนาคารชั้นนำใน AEC+ ส่งผลให้มีการแนะนำลูกค้าระหว่างกัน การจับคู่ทางธุรกิจ ฯลฯ ทั้งนี้ ในอนาคตเมื่อทางการเวียดนามอนุญาตให้เปิดสาขาได้ ธนาคารกสิกรไทยมีแผนจะยกระดับสำนักงานผู้แทนในเวียดนาม ให้เป็นสาขาต่อไป ซึ่งจะช่วยให้ธนาคาร ฯ เพิ่มบทบาทในการให้บริการด้านการเงินที่มากขึ้น ร่วมทั้งการให้การสนับสนุนธุรกิจเอสเอ็มอีของเวียดนามด้วย
ทั้งนี้ จากข้อมูลสถิติของสำนักงานสถิติเวียดนามปี 2556 ปริมาณการค้าระหว่างเวียดนามกับอาเซียนได้เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ โดยมีอัตราการเติบโต 9.6% เวียดนามกับไทยเติบโต 14.8% เวียดนามกับจีนเติบโต 17.6% และเวียดนามกับญี่ปุ่น เติบโต 2.7% สำหรับธุรกิจไทยที่มีแนวโน้มสดใสในการเข้าไปลงทุนในเวียดนามได้แก่ ธุรกิจค้าปลีก ธุรกิจก่อสร้าง และธุรกิจเกี่ยวเนื่องกับการท่องเที่ยว ด้านสินค้าส่งออกหลักของไทยไปยังประเทศเวียดนาม ได้แก่ สินค้าวัตถุดิบและกึ่งสำเร็จรูปอย่างน้ำมันสำเร็จรูป เม็ดพลาสติก เคมีภัณฑ์ รถยนต์ อุปกรณ์และส่วนประกอบ
ปัจจุบันธนาคารกสิกรไทยมีสำนักงานต่างประเทศในกลุ่มประเทศ AEC+3 และประเทศอื่นๆ รวมทั้งสิ้น 14 แห่ง แบ่งเป็น ธนาคารท้องถิ่น 1 แห่ง ได้แก่ สปป.ลาว สาขา 6 แห่ง ได้แก่ สาขาเซินเจิ้น สาขาย่อยหลงกั่ง สาขาเฉิงตู สาขาฮ่องกง สาขาลอสแองเจิลลิส สาขาหมู่เกาะเคย์แมน สำนักงานผู้แทน 7 แห่ง ได้แก่ สำนักงานผู้แทนปักกิ่ง สำนักงานผู้แทนเซี่ยงไฮ้ สำนักงานผู้แทนคุนหมิง สำนักงานผู้แทนย่างกุ้ง สำนักงานผู้แทนฮานอย สำนักงานผู้แทนโฮจิมินห์ สำนักงานผู้แทนโตเกียว นอกจากนี้ภายในปี 2558 ธนาคารได้เตรียมการจัดตั้งสาขาพนมเปญ สำนักงานผู้แทนจาการ์ตาอีกด้วย

KBank opens two representative offices in Vietnam to support cross-border businesses.
KASIKORNBANK has opened two representative offices in Vietnam’s Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to support trade and investment expansion of Thai companies in the country. Through KBank’s partnerships with leading local banks, market insights and business networks connecting Thai businesses with corporations in Vietnam and other ASEAN countries will also be offered.
According to KASIKORNBANK President Mr. Predee Daochai, Vietnam is one of the most important investment magnets among Thai and foreign investors, given the country’s ample labor force with diligence, patience, and a positive attitude towards self-development. While Vietnam is a great source of raw materials, the country is also home to more than 90 million consumers, a high-growth potential market. Since 2011, KBank has created service network partnerships with Vietnam’s two leading commercial banks, i.e., the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank).
KBank’s opening of two new representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City aims to enhance flexibility in taking care of corporate customers who wish to expand their market in the country. Among the main target customers are Thai companies that want to grow their trade and investment in Vietnam, as well as Chinese, Japanese and South Korean firms that intend to boost their international trade there.
Both representative offices will aid in cooperation between KBank headquarters and Thai corporate customers in Vietnam, supervise investment projects financed by the Bank, facilitate market research insights to support customers’ business planning, support trade and investment activities between the two countries, assist Vietnamese exporters in accessing the ASEAN market through international business networks, and offer transaction services to Thai SMEs through VietinBank, a partner bank of KBank and a leading bank in Vietnam with 147 outlets nationwide.
Mr. Predee added that KBank’s outstanding strength is its leading role in serving Thai SME businesses, therefore having a better understanding of Thai companies and being geared up to provide financial facilities as well as advisory service for Thai SMEs that intend to establish a presence in Vietnam. KBank also stands ready to offer advisory service for Vietnamese SME entrepreneurs which are part of supply chains of the Bank’s Thai, Chinese, Japanese and South Korean corporate customers.
Under the AEC+3 (ASEAN plus China, Japan and South Korea) strategy, KBank has built business connectivity throughout ASEAN via establishment of local banks, branches and representative offices, while having partnerships with 66 leading banks in China, Japan, South Korea and ASEAN, under the Bangkok Declaration agreement signed in November 2014 that has led to business cooperation among top banks in AEC+ as well as customer referral and business matching among institutions under the agreement. KBank is planning to upgrade representative offices to branches if allowed by the Vietnamese authorities, which will enable the Bank to offer a greater scope of financial services and support to Vietnamese SMEs.
According to 2013 data of the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, Vietnam’s trade with ASEAN, Thailand, China and Japan rose significantly at 9.6 percent, 14.8 percent, 17.6 percent and 2.7 percent, respectively. Thai businesses with potential in the Vietnamese market include retail trade, construction and tourism-related industries, while our key exports to Vietnam comprise raw materials and intermediate products, e.g., refined oil, plastic resin, chemical products, automobiles, and auto parts and components.
At present, KBank has 14 outlets in AEC+3 and elsewhere: one local bank in Lao PDR; six branches, namely the Shenzhen Branch, Longgang Sub-Branch, Chengdu Branch, Hong Kong Branch, Los Angeles International Branch, and Cayman Islands Branch; and seven representative offices, i.e., the Beijing Representative Office, Shanghai Representative Office, Kunming Representative Office, Yangon Representative Office, Hanoi Representative Office, Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office, and Tokyo Representative Office. Within 2015, KBank is planning to open a branch in Phnom Penh and a representative office in Jakarta.
