กสิกรไทยย้ายที่ทำการสำนักงานใหญ่มาอาคารพหลโยธิน
ดร.อดิศวร์ หลายชูไทย เลขานุการบริษัทและรองกรรมการผู้จัดการอาวุโส ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า คณะกรรมการธนาคาร ได้มีมติอนุมัติให้ธนาคารย้ายที่ทำการสำนักงานใหญ่จากอาคารราษฎร์บูรณะมาที่อาคารพหลโยธิน ซึ่งเคยเป็นสำนักงานใหญ่เดิมของธนาคาร ณ อาคารเลขที่ 400/22 ถนนพหลโยธิน แขวงสามเสนใน เขตพญาไท กรุงเทพมหานคร ซึ่งได้รับอนุญาตจากธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทยแล้ว และได้จดทะเบียนแก้ไขต่อกระทรวงพาณิชย์แล้ว เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ.2564 ทั้งนี้ เพื่อความสะดวกในการติดต่อธุรกิจกับลูกค้าและหน่วยงานต่างๆ โดยธนาคารยังคงใช้อาคารราษฎร์บูรณะ เป็นที่ทำการของธนาคารต่อไป
ธนาคารกสิกรไทยก่อตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2488 โดยมีสำนักงานใหญ่แห่งแรก ณ อาคารเลขที่ 306 ถนนเสือป่า แขวงป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย กรุงเทพมหานคร เมื่อธุรกิจมีการเติบโตเจริญก้าวหน้าขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ในปี พ.ศ.2510 จึงย้ายสำนักงานใหญ่ไปที่ถนนสีลม ในปี พ.ศ.2526 ย้ายไปที่ถนนพหลโยธินและในปี พ.ศ.2538 ย้ายไปถนนราษฎร์บูรณะ ก่อนที่จะย้ายสำนักงานใหญ่กลับมาที่อาคารพหลโยธินอีกครั้ง
KBank relocates Head Office to Phahon Yothin Building
Dr. Adit Laixuthai, KBank Corporate Secretary and Senior Executive Vice President, said that KBank’s Board of Directors has approved the relocation of KBank’s Head Office from the current Rat Burana Building, to the former Head Office at the Phahon Yothin Building, 400/22 Phahon Yothin Road, Sam Sen Nai Sub-district, Phaya Thai District, Bangkok. The relocation of KBank’s Head Office has received concurrence from the Bank of Thailand, and KBank already registered for amendment with the Ministry of Commerce, on May 24, 2021. The relocation of KBank’s Head Office is intended to provide greater convenience for customers and various agencies doing business with KBank. The Rat Burana Building will continue to be used as KBank’s operating office.
KASIKORNBANK PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED was established on June 8, 1945. Its first Head Office was located at 306 Suapa Road, Pom Prap Sattru Phai Sub-district, Bangkok. As the Bank grew and expanded its business, the Head Office was moved to Silom Road in 1967, before relocating to Phahon Yothin Road in 1983 and then to Rat Burana Road in 1995. As of May 24, 2021, the Bank’s Head Office has returned to the Phahon Yothin Building.
