กสิกรไทยผนึก 35 ธนาคารพันธมิตรอาเซียนภายใต้กรอบปฏิญญากรุงเทพฯ หวังยกระดับการให้บริการด้านการเงินธนาคารสู่มาตรฐานสากลรับเออีซี
กสิกรไทย จับมือ 35 ธนาคารพันธมิตรจาก 9 ประเทศ ประกาศปฏิญญากรุงเทพฯ (Bangkok Declaration: ASEAN+3 Banking Initiative)เพื่อยกระดับการให้บริการแก่ลูกค้าที่ต้องการทำธุรกรรมข้ามแดน โดยร่วมมือทั้งด้านผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการ ตลอดจนการพัฒนาบุคคลากรทางการเงิน ผ่านโครงการ Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum ร่วมพัฒนาหลักสูตร บุคลากร แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล ประสบการณ์ ต่อยอดสู่ความร่วมมือทางธุรกรรมการเงิน หวังยกระดับการให้บริการธนาคารสู่มาตรฐานสากลรับเออีซี
นายบัณฑูร ล่ำซำ ประธานกรรมการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า การรวมตัวกันภายใต้ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนหรือเออีซีที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้นปลายปี 2558 นี้ ส่งผลให้มีการเคลื่อนไหวทางด้านเงินทุน สินค้าและบริการเป็นไปอย่างคล่องตัว ซึ่งช่วยกระตุ้นกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศในกลุ่มภูมิภาคอาเซียน+3 รวมทั้งปริมาณการค้าและการลงทุนก็จะสูงขึ้นด้วย ธนาคารพาณิชย์ในภูมิภาคจึงจำเป็นต้องปรับตัวอย่างรวดเร็วตามความต้องการของลูกค้าที่เปลี่ยนไป เพื่อส่งมอบบริการข้ามพรมแดนด้านการเป็นที่ปรึกษา ด้วยข้อมูลเชิงลึกและนวัตกรรมผลิตภัณฑ์ธนาคารผ่านช่องทางบริการที่มีประสิทธิภาพ
ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จึงได้ร่วมลงนามความร่วมมือกับธนาคารพันธมิตรในภูมิภาครวม 35 แห่ง จาก 9 ประเทศ ได้แก่ ไทย จีน ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ อินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ กัมพูชา เวียดนาม และสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว เพื่อส่งเสริมการพัฒนาธุรกิจด้านการธนาคารระหว่างกัน เป็นการยกระดับการให้บริการของธนาคารให้เป็นมาตรฐานเดียวกันในระดับสากลเป็นครั้งแรกในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ผ่านความร่วมมือ 'พันธมิตรธนาคารในอาเซียน+3' (ASEAN+3 Banking Alliance) บนพื้นฐานแห่งปฏิญญากรุงเทพฯ ในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ด้านธนาคาร (Banking Experience) และเป็นพื้นที่ระดมความคิดอันจะนำไปสู่การสร้างนวัตกรรมทางการเงินใหม่ๆ เพื่อยกระดับการให้บริการสู่สากล อีกทั้งยังขยายขอบเขตพื้นที่การให้บริการออกไปกว้างยิ่งขึ้น โดยเป็นความร่วมมือกับเครือข่ายพันธมิตรท้องถิ่นต่างประเทศในการออกผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการให้แก่ลูกค้าในประเทศนั้นๆ
นอกจากนี้ ธนาคารกสิกรไทยในฐานะผู้ริเริ่มการประกาศปฏิญญากรุงเทพฯ จึงได้จัดตั้งโครงการความร่วมมือ Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum ซึ่งเป็นการอบรมและพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านการเงินให้มีศักยภาพโดดเด่นในอุตสาหกรรมการเงินในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ผ่าน 2 หลักสูตรที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาเป็นพิเศษ ประกอบด้วย หลักสูตรภาวะผู้นำ (Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum Leadership Program 2015) สำหรับผู้บริหารระดับสูง รวมถึงผู้นำในอนาคตที่มีศักยภาพ และหลักสูตรความเชี่ยวชาญด้านการธนาคาร (Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum Banking Expertise Program 2015) สำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการธนาคาร ผู้บริหารระดับสูง ซึ่งรับผิดชอบการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการ
นายบัณฑูรกล่าวในตอนท้ายว่า การที่ข้อตกลงปฏิญญากรุงเทพฯ จะสามารถบรรลุถึงเป้าหมายได้นั้น ธนาคารในภูมิภาคอาเซียนต้องมีการร่วมมือกันพัฒนาคุณภาพและยกระดับการให้บริการทางการเงินระหว่างประเทศไปสู่กลุ่มลูกค้าในภูมิภาคได้อย่างทั่วถึง
KBank joins forces with 35 ASEAN allied banks under the Bangkok Declaration aiming to enhance international standard banking service provision ahead of AEC advent
KASIKORNBANK joins hands with 35 allied banks from nine countries to announce ASEAN+3 Banking Initiative, which is aimed to enhance service provision for customers seeking to conduct cross-border transactions. The collaboration on banking products and services, as well as financial human resources development, will be through Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum – a platform where expert bankers join to develop training courses and share their experience, aiming to reinforce cooperation on financial transactions and to offer international standard banking services prior to the AEC advent.
Mr.Banthoon Lamsam, KASIKORNBANK Chairman of the Board, said the regional integration under the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by the end of 2015 will allow for freer movements of capital, goods and services, which will stimulate economic activities within the ASEAN+3 bloc and raise trade/investment volume. It is essential that commercial banks in the region rapidly adjust to customers’ ever-changing needs in order to provide cross-border trade advisory with in-depth information and banking innovative products through efficient channels.
With this initiation, KBank has signed a cooperation agreement with 35 allied banks from nine countries – Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Lao PDR, aiming at sharing expertise in banking business development. This is the first cooperation of its kind that will bring ASEAN banking to the international level with the “ASEAN+3 Banking Alliance” under the Bangkok Declaration, which will see expert bankers exchange knowledge, banking experience and contribute their expertise that will lead to many financial innovations. Service provision boundaries will be expanded through cooperation with local alliance in introducing new products and services for local customers.
Moreover, KBank – as the initiator of Bangkok Declaration – has organized Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum as a platform for knowledge exchange and human resources development through two uniquely designed programs: (1) Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum Leadership Program 2015 for top executives and future leaders with potential, and (2) Taksila ASEAN Banking Forum Banking Expertise Program 2015 for banking product specialists and top managers who lead product development and services deliveries.
Mr.Banthoon added that, to materialize the objectives of the Bangkok Declaration, ASEAN banks need to cooperate on developing quality and enhancing cross-border transaction services to reach out to regional customers in all corners.
