อินเว้นท์ และสิงเทล อินโนเวท ร่วมลงทุนในชอปสปอท มุ่งพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มและบริการครบวงจร 360 องศา ตอบสนองตลาดโซเชี่ยลคอมเมิร์ซ
บริษัท อินทัช โฮลดิ้งส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) โดยโครงการอินเว้นท์ (InVent) และ สิงเทล อินโนเวท พีทีอี ลิมิเต็ด (Singtel Innov8 Pte Ltd) ร่วมลงทุนใน ชอปสปอท โมบิลิตี้ พีทีอี ลิมิเต็ด (ShopSpot Mobility Pte Ltd) บริษัทผู้พัฒนาเว็บและแอปพลิเคชัน ShopSpot หนึ่งในผู้บุกเบิก ตลาดโซเชี่ยลคอมเมิร์ซในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยตั้งเป้าพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มและ บริการครบวงจร 360 องศา เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของ ผู้ซื้อและผู้ขาย รวมทั้งเปิดประสบการณ์ใหม่ที่เป็นมากกว่าการชอปปิ้งออนไลน์
สำหรับ ตลาดโซเชี่ยลคอมเมิร์ซ (Social Commerce) เป็นตลาดที่มีความน่าสนใจและมีการเติบโตสูง โดยเฉพาะสินค้าในกลุ่มไลฟ์สไตล์ เช่น เสื้อผ้า เครื่องประดับ ซึ่งในปัจจุบัน ประเทศไทยมีจำนวนผู้ประกอบการที่มีความสามารถในการผลิตสินค้าที่มีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับชั้นนำของภูมิภาค นอกจากนี้ ลูกค้าที่จะซื้อสินค้าในกลุ่มนี้จะฟังคำแนะนำจากคนรอบข้างเพื่อเป็นข้อมูลประกอบการตัดสินใจ
นายธนพงษ์ ณ ระนอง ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้อำนวยการ ส่วนงานบริษัทร่วมทุน บริษัท อินทัช โฮลดิ้งส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) กล่าวว่า “การลงทุนในครั้งนี้เกิดจากความร่วมมือระหว่างโครงการอินเว้นท์ของอินทัช และสิงเทล อินโนเวท ซึ่งเป็นพันธมิตรทางด้านการลงทุน เล็งเห็นว่า ShopSpot เป็นบริษัทที่มีศักยภาพและประสบการณ์ด้านการให้บริการแพลตฟอร์มโซเชี่ยลคอมเมิร์ซ ผ่านแอปพลิเคชัน ShopSpot บนสมาร์ทโฟนและเว็บไซต์ สามารถขยายตัวได้อย่างรวดเร็วทั้งในประเทศและเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ อินเว้นท์จึงสนับสนุนเงินลงทุนให้กับ ShopSpot ซึ่งนับเป็นบริษัท ที่ 8 ของอินเว้นท์”
“สำหรับประโยชน์ที่ได้จากการลงทุนครั้งนี้ เราเห็นว่า ShopSpot เป็นแพลตฟอร์มที่มีประสิทธิภาพสามารถนำมาต่อยอดกับธุรกิจของกลุ่มอินทัช เช่น ให้ลูกค้า AIS สามารถสนุกกับการซื้อสินค้าออนไลน์ในโซเชี่ยลคอมเมิร์ซ และชำระเงินผ่านระบบการชำระเงินออนไลน์ ของ mPAY ได้อย่างสะดวกสบาย ทั้งนี้ยังรวมไปถึงการให้บริการแพลตฟอร์มกับบริษัทที่อินเว้นท์ได้ลงทุนไปก่อนหน้านี้” นายธนพงษ์ กล่าวเพิ่มเติม
นายนัฏฐ์สกล เกียรติสุรนนท์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร และผู้ก่อตั้ง บริษัท ชอปสปอท โมบิลิตี้ พีทีอี ลิมิเต็ด กล่าวว่า “รู้สึกดีใจและยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ อินทัช และสิงเทล อินโนเวท เห็นศักยภาพใน ShopSpot ซึ่งเป็น Tech Startup ที่ได้รับรางวัลจากโครงการ AIS Startup Weekend 2011จากนั้นได้เข้าร่วมโครงการ JFDI-Innov8 Bootcamp 2012 ซึ่งเป็นโครงการบ่มเพาะ Tech Startup ระดับภูมิภาค ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นบริษัทคนไทยเจ้าแรกที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากโครงการนี้ และในปี 2013 ShopSpot ได้รับการลงทุนในรอบแรกจาก Venture Capital ชั้นนำระดับภูมิภาค จากนั้นบริษัทมีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนได้รับการลงทุนรอบที่สองจากอินทัช และ สิงเทล อินโนเวท ในปี 2015”

Aiming to develop platform and 360-degree integrated services for social commerce
Intouch Holdings PLC. by Invent is teamed up with Singtel Innov8 Pte. Ltd. to invest in ShopSpot Mobility Pte. Ltd., the developer behind one of Southeast Asia’s leading social commerce platform. The goals are to develop platform and 360-degree integrated services for social commerce in order to satisfy the needs of buyers and sellers and to create the ultimate online shopping experience.
Social commerce is an attractive and fast growing market, especially in lifestyle products such as fashion and accessories. Consumers’ purchasing decision are increasingly influenced by word-of-mouth and recommendations by friends from their social circles.
Mr.Thanapong Na Ranong, Vice President of Venture Capital at Intouch Holdings PLC., said, “This investment is a good collaboration between Intouch by InVent and Singtel Innov8.
