นายปกรณ์ พรรณเชษฐ์ ผู้อำนวยการอาวุโส ฝ่ายการตลาด บมจ. โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น (ดีแทค) กล่าวว่า “จากการที่ดีแทคได้เป็นตัวแทนจำหน่ายสมาร์ทโฟนจากเอชทีซีอย่างเป็นทางการ ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับเป็นอย่างดีจากยอดขายสมาร์ทโฟน HTC One Family ทั้งนี้พฤติกรรมผู้บริโภคในปัจจุับันมีการใช้สมาร์ทโฟนสูงถึง 9.6 ล้านเครื่องในไตรมาสแรกของปี 2557 และเป็นผู้ใช้สมาร์ทโฟนที่รองรับ 4G ในระบบดีแทคประมาณ 1 ล้านเครื่อง โดยคาดว่าปลายปีจะมียอดการใช้บริการเติบโตถึง 1.5 ล้านเครื่องจากการที่ดีแทคนำ 4G สมาร์ทโฟนจาก HTC มาจัดจำหน่าย ซึ่งที่ผ่านมาจะมีเฉพาะสมาร์ทโฟนระดับไฮท์เอน ราคากว่า 20,000 บาทเท่านั้นที่สามารถรองรับ 4G ได้ ซึ่งดีแทคได้มองเห็นถึงความต้องการในการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงบนสมาร์ทโฟนที่จะขยายตัวมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มผู้บริโภคที่เป็นวัยรุ่น ประกอบกับดีแทคยังคงเชื่อมั่นในเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมระดับพรีเมี่ยมของสมาร์ทโฟนจากเอชทีซีที่ออกแบบเพื่อตอบโจทย์ไลฟ์สไตล์คนรุ่นใหม่ที่ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตบนสมาร์ทโฟนเป็นประจำ
