ดีแทค ประกาศ 3 เขต 3 พื้นที่ยกระดับคุณภาพใช้งาน พร้อมจัดดีแทคเน็ตเวิร์กทีมลงพื้นที่พบลูกค้า
นายซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ รักษาการประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ ดีแทค พร้อมด้วยนายประเทศ ตันกุรานันท์ ผู้อำนวยการอาวุโสสายงานปฏิบัติการโครงข่าย เปิดตัวดีแทคเน็ตเวิร์กทีมและนำทีมลงพื้นที่เช็กสัญญาณและรับฟังความคิดเห็นลูกค้าบริเวณย่านปากเกร็ดเป็นที่แรก ซึ่งครอบคลุมเส้นทางท่าเรือ ตลาดชุมชน แหล่งชุมชน หลังอัพเกรดโครงข่ายเสร็จสมบูรณ์ในย่านปากเกร็ด ดีแทคได้เน้นในเขตพื้นที่ดังกล่าวนำร่อง เพราะมีการเติบโตการใช้งานสูง มีความต้องการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ต และมีการร้องเรียนการใช้งานจากลูกค้าจำนวนมาก โดยพื้นที่ดังกล่าวอยู่ในย่านสำคัญที่เป็นแหล่งสัญจร จุดเชื่อมต่อเส้นทาง แหล่งชุมชน
นายซิคเว่ เบรคเก้ รักษาการประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ ดีแทค กล่าวว่า “ดีแทคมุ่งขยายโครงข่ายรองรับการเติบโตในพื้นที่มีความต้องการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตบนมือถือสูง พร้อมสร้างโครงข่ายรองรับอนาคตการขยายตัวชุมชน ที่อยู่อาศัย เส้นทางสัญจรหนาแน่น แนวรถไฟฟ้าและจุดเปลี่ยนสถานี พร้อมเส้นทางคมนาคมจุดต่อเชื่อมเส้นทางกรุงเทพสู่ปริมณฑล ครอบคลุมแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ช้อปปิ้งมอลล์ และตลาดชุมชน รองรับพฤติกรรมคนยุคใหม่ที่รักและชื่นชอบการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตบนมือถือ เป็นการตอกย้ำคำมั่นสัญญาที่คืบหน้าจากที่ดีแทคประกาศมุ่งสู่ความเป็นผู้นำในการให้บริการอินเทอร์เน็ต เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าที่มีแนวโน้มรักการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตที่พุ่งสูงขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็วนั้น ขณะนี้ดีแทคพร้อมแล้วที่จะประกาศพื้นที่ขยายโครงข่ายที่เสร็จสมบูรณ์ยกระดับคุณภาพใช้งาน 3 เขต คือ เขตปากเกร็ด เขตประเวศน์ และเขตบางเขน และ 3 แหล่งสำคัญ คือ ตลาดลุงเพิ่ม (หลังการบินไทย) ตลาดท่าดินแดง และโรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพ”
ดีแทค เน็ตเวิร์กทีมได้ลงพื้นที่เช็กสัญญาณและรับฟังความคิดเห็นลูกค้าบริเวณย่านปากเกร็ดเป็นที่แรก ซึ่งพื้นที่ปากเกร็ดซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนศูนย์กลางของแหล่งชุมชนและแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม และเป็นจุดเชื่อมต่อการสัญจรทั้งทางบกและทางน้ำ ซึ่งมีทั้งท่าเรือด่วน ท่าเรือข้ามฟาก ถนนเส้นทางหลักเชื่อมต่อกรุงเทพและปริมณฑล ต่อเนื่องด้วยจุดเชื่อมต่อการเดินทางด้วยทางด่วน รองรับการประชากรที่อาศัยรอบปริมณฑล และอนาคตอันใกล้นี้เส้นทางถนนแจ้งวัฒนะยังเป็นเส้นทางที่จะก่อสร้างรถไฟ้ฟ้าสายสีชมพู ซึ่งจะทำให้เกิดความเจริญและการเติบโตของที่อยู่อาศัยเพิ่มขึ้น เช่น คอนโดมิเนียม และหมู่บ้านอีกมาก ทั้งนี้ ดีแทคยังมุ่งเดินหน้าพัฒนาโครงข่ายในพื้นต่างๆ ต่อเนื่องทั่วประเทศ
“จากการที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการยกระดับโครงข่ายเพื่อผู้ใช้งาน ทำให้มียอดการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ต (Growth rate) เติบโตในเขตประเวศน์ 134.97% เขตปากเกร็ด 123.97% และเขตบางเขน 90.82% ในขณะที่ยอดเติบโตในประเทศอยู่ที่ 135.45%โดยพบว่าทั้ง 3 เขตดังกล่าวมีสถิติยอดการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตสูงสุดในช่วงเวลา 21.00-22.00 น. และสถิติการโทรเข้า-ออกสูงสุดในช่วง 20.00-21.00 น. โดยมียอดลูกค้าร้องเรียนลดลงที่ปากเกร็ดถึง 90% เขตประเวศน์ 40% และเขตบางเขนลดลง 20% และในโอกาสที่นายประเทศ ตันกุรานันท์ ได้กลับมาดูแลสายงานปฏิบัติการโครงข่ายของดีแทคอีกครั้ง จึงได้จัดภารกิจดีแทคเน็ตเวิร์กทีมลงพื้นที่เพื่อรับฟังความคิดเห็นกับลูกค้าและพิสูจน์การใช้งานในพื้นที่ดังกล่าว เพื่อให้ความมั่นใจและรับฟังความต้องการจากลูกค้าเพื่อนำมาพัฒนาสู่การใช้งานต่อไป” นายซิคเว่ กล่าว
นายประเทศ ตันกุรานันท์ ผู้อำนวยการอาวุโสสายงานปฏิบัติการโครงข่าย กล่าวเสริมว่า “ได้จัดตั้งดีแทคเน็ตเวิร์กทีม เพื่อปฏิบัติภารกิจมากกว่า 10 เส้นทางใน 3 เขต และ 3 แหล่งพื้นที่สำคัญในเฟสแรก สำหรับทีมที่ลงพื้นที่จะสอบถามลูกค้าดีแทคและพิสูจน์ถึงคุณภาพการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตบนมือถือ ผ่านแอพพลิเคชั่นยอดนิยมต่างๆ ในการใช้งาน พร้อมทั้งทำความเข้าใจในความต้องการ และความคาดหวังของลูกค้าในการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตโดยทีมที่ลงพื้นที่ยังมีแอพพลิเคชั่นรายงานปัญหาที่พบจากพื้นที่โดยตรง กรณีถ้าพบลูกค้าแจ้งปัญหาการใช้งาน และทีมงานจะนำกลับมาเพื่อเร่งพัฒนาสู่คุณภาพที่ดีขึ้น โดยดีแทคเน็ตเวิร์กทีมจะเพิ่มเส้นทางปฏิบัติภารกิจต่อเนื่องเมื่อโครงข่ายในพื้นที่อื่นยกระดับคุณภาพเสร็จเพิ่มเติม โดยเร็วๆ นี้ จะมีแหล่งพื้นที่สำคัญเพิ่มเติมอีกเช่น ตลาดน้ำอัมพวา ทาวน์อินทาวน์ และตลาดรถไฟ ศรีนครินทร์ เป็นต้น”

dtac announces network quality improvement in 3 districts and 3 specific locations and introduces dtac network team to visit customers
Sigve Brekke, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Total Access Communication PLC or dtac, along with Prathet Tankuranun, Senior Vice President, Network Operations Division lead dtac Network Team to inspect the signal and listen to the customers in Pak Kret area. Pak Kret, covering the ferry terminals, markets, and communities, is the first place of the ongoing mission. dtac has finished upgrading the network in pilot areas where we recognize the importance of the internet usage growth and customers’ complaints.
Sigve Brekke, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Total Access Communication PLC or dtac, said “dtac has improved the network infrastructure to support the usage growth due to expansion of community, including residential areas, transportation routes, and the city rail transport routes with interchange stations. This covers all the routes between Bangkok and suburban areas including tourist attractions, shopping malls, and community markets. The improved network meets the new generations’ demands of mobile internet. It shows the strong commitment of dtac to become the leader in internet service providers that fulfills customers’ rapid increase in internet usage. Now dtac is ready to announce the completion of network expansion in 3 districts: Pak Kret, Prawet, and Bang Khen, and 3 specific locations: Lung Perm market (behind Thai Airways headquarter), Ta Din Dang market, and Bangkok hospital”.
The pilot areas are main regions for transportation and communities especially Pak Kret which is like a virtual hub for residential area and cultural attractions. Pak Kret is also the connecting point between land and water transportations. It consists of ferry terminals, main roads connecting Bangkok and perimeters, and future pink line mass rapid transit. This leads to the massive rise of residential constructions such as condominiums and villages. Thus, the development of dtac’s network infrastructure is still ongoing in other areas nationwide.
“The success of network development leads to the growth rate of internet usage of 134.97%, 123.97%, and 90.82% in Prawet, Pak Kret, and Bang Khen, respectively. Whereas, the national growth rate is at 135.45%. It is found in these 3 areas that the peak internet usage occurs in 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the maximum number of calls are made between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Customers’ complaints are significantly decreased by 90% in Pak Kret, while the reduction of 40% and 20% are revealed in Prawet and Bang Khen districts, respectively. As Mr. Prathet Tankuranan is back to be in charge of Network Operation Division once again, he has initiated dtac network team to go to the areas and listen to customers’ feedbacks which could be used to improve the service quality in the future.” Sigve said.
Prathet Tankuranun, Senior Vice President, Network Operations Division, also said “we set up dtac Network Team to take more than 10 routes in 3 districts, and get into 3 key areas for the first phase of the mission. The team will ensure the customers have good quality internet on mobile when use popular applications. The customers’ expectations will also be recognized for better service. The team is equipped with the application which can report problems directly from the field. The problems will be settled to improve the quality of service. The team will continue on the mission to other area that network has been upgraded. Soon, they will go out to additional key areas, such as Amphawa floating market, Town-in-town area, and Srinakarin Talad Rot Fai (train market).”
dtac has high ambition to be the leading internet operator in the market by delivering the best internet network to Thai consumers with good quality internet connection. dtac is confident that our efficient internet connection will bring our customers great experiences, which also make them fall in love with dtac. The network expansion plan is on process to reach 6,500 stations with 3G and 4G service, cover the metropolitan area and other 30 big cities in Thailand within March 31, 2015.
