dtac to deliver best internet networkand to expand widest 4G coverage in Bangkok and 30 major cities within 31st March 2015
Dtac today announces that it will take the leading internet position by expanding its 3G and 4G network with 6500 base station in Bangkok metropolitan areas and 30 major cities within 31st March 2015 to meet the strong growing demand for Internet services among Thai consumers. In celebration of the company's Customer First Day, all employees went out to the market to listen, learn, and understand consumers’ expectation and needs for internet and voice services. Under the leadership of Sigve Brekke, Interim CEO, dtac is dedicated to work hard in order to inspire the customers to “Love dtac”.

dtac commits an investment of 10 billion Baht in 6 months for the rollout of 3G on 850 MHz and 2100 MHz and 4G/LTE on 2100MHz in Bangkok Metropolitan Area and 30 major cities. dtac customers will enjoy consistent network performance and higher quality on the 20 most used data services, such asFacebook, Instagram, Line, Twitter. With the best 4G network, customers will experience seamless internet service that allows them to smoothly watch online videos, movies, and YouTube on the movewith a consistent experience.
dtac has laid down the network rollout plan for the next 6 month that coversBangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathumthani, Samutprakarn, some border cities, such as Tak, Thailand-Laos Friendship Bridge, Rong Klua (Saa Kaew) and Ratchaburi, and tourist cities, such as Phuket, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai, Rayong, Hua Hin, Cha-am, Chiang Rai, and growing major cities, such as Songkhla, and Surat Thani, Chonburi, Rayong, Samut Sakhon, Khon Kaen, Ubolratchathani, Chiangmai, Chachoensao, Nakhonpathom, Pitsanulok, Ayudhaya, Nakhon Srithammarat, Nakhon Sawan, Srisaket, Udonthani, Kamphaengphet, Saraburi, Trang, Buriram, Petchaboon, Pichit, Mahasarakham, Surin, and Roi-Et.
